A few days ago—while traveling around Hainan—British content creator Harvey and his Chinese girlfriend Dora visited Lingshui Li Minority Autonomous County’s Hainan ocean paradise resort. Finding all kinds of amazing and unexpected things on their journey, the undulating, seemingly endless coastline provided the perfect backdrop for appreciating the fusion of blue sea and bluer sky.

Combining sightseeing and transportation, China's first shallow-water monorail—at 3.3km—is surrounded by the sea on all four sides with panoramic picture windows that provide an immersive viewing experience. Enjoying the scenery along the way, guests taking the monorail can travel the park from end to end as well as get views across the harbor to nearby Li’an. It’s almost like flying.

"We rode the roller coaster, got to get up close to the marine life at the South China Sea Exhibit, took the monorail, saw the fireworks show and parade... it was great!” said Harvey. As the gloaming light of sunset colors the sky, a new and dazzling scene is created, the joyful sounds of night echo across the park, and Dora and Harvey checked in at the park's Ice and Snow World - the tropics’ largest polar pavilion. While there, they not only got to experience the sudden change between summer and winter, they also got to feed the gentoo penguins.
